User Testing & Troubleshooting

For larger web projects involving a user system, user testing is an absolutely critical component in ensuring your project's success. Once the functionality is built, everything needs to be reviewed by different types of users using different hardware and software, requiring dozens of testers. This involves coordinating the distribution of testing instructions, gathering feedback from all these testers, collating bugs into a bug report, suggestions for improvement in a separate report.

Search Engine Marketing

SEM (Search Engine Marketing), SEO (Search Engine Optimization), newsletter development, mailing list managers, and Google AdWords & Analytics are just a few examples of Internet Marketing tools that we have utilized to assist our clients with generating traffic. We are well versed with advertising, email marketing, CAN SPAM, and other industry standards / legal requirements. We have also integrated some of those tools with a CMS. For example, all news posted on DeafTimes are automatically distributed to subscribers via a third party mailing list manager. All ads are tracked using Google Analytics.

Flash

Today's sites more often than not have video / flash needs. We have not done a lot of flash work since it requires a big budget, but we have the skill required to do most types of flash work, as well as proven video experience. We have a couple freelancers who do video editing as well. A Few Examples: Academic ASL Approach - an "all ASL" site www.AcademicASLApproach.com Artist Site with Flash Header & Gallery - www.LeilaniArt.com * Many of our sites above also have built in video option in the CMS

Establish an Online Shop

There are hundreds of possible solutions for accepting credit cards online; Paypal buttons; shopping cart HTML creator software; shopping cart for downloadable products; custom development; hosted online shops; the list goes on. Which is the right fit for you or your organization? Certain solutions will only work with a limited number of merchant accounts or banking institutions. Some come with the ability to give discounts and coupons, others don't. Yet others offer inventory management while many don't.

Project Planning

A project plan, complete with scope, objectives, resource needs, and a schedule is the backbone of any successful project. How can you plan a marketing campaign if you don't know when your product will be complete? How can anyone put together an accurate budget if you don't know what you will need to buy and when? The list goes on. Project planning generally follows three steps: discovery; project development; scheduling. The end product is a neatly organized plan ready for implementation, clear with objectives, and complete with a vision.

Find & Configure CRM Software

Every organization or business needs to have some form of a Customer Relationship Management program - in other words, the ability to track and organize contacts with current and prospective customers. Software for CRM usually includes any number of these features: ability to manage a salesforce; facilitate order fulfillment process(es); manage and track campaigns; distribute and quantify and/or qualify leads; simple to complex contact management; assign tasks; share materials; and more. CRM solutions are most useful when the full needs of the organization has been considered, from sales to shipping to finance. Furthermore, integration with other technology being used by the organization will streamline operations and maximize profitability.
